I have a huge list this year, so I need to know ehen it is good to start writing cards! Also when should I start Christmas shopping?

Ah well, too late now - just save them and hope you have the same friends next year!
Seriously though. If anybody even dared to give me a Christmas card before well in to December, i'd rip it up and throw it back at them!
So don't send my card for another month or so Smoogie 
As for Xmas shopping - depends how you're fixed financially. It's around this time that i start buying stuff so i know i have time to spare (plus extra time to get those awkward last minute pressies).

i never give out cards or presents other than to close family..
mam, dad, sister, grandma, granda, aunt and uncle. i dont really see the point tbh..
Edit- i wouldnt send out cards or presents any earlier than 3 weeks before christmas

you can write them as early as you want to, just don't mail them until december...much like dms I'll throw them in the trash as I hate christmas starting in october

Just send Christmas cards to the people who send them to you.
Saves money, saves trees, saves time and had you asked your parents this stupid question it would have saved bandwidth and electricity.
