but my mom doesnt know
and im freaking out how im going to get around here
cause my mom calls often when i stay other places and she checks on me
and its bad enough im staying at some ones house that she doesnt know
and i dont what here to call and me not pick up and her to go to the house and find out im LA
my mom is way to over protective and i just want a brake from paranoia
i mean it sucks shes turend me in to an oober paranoied kid
some on help me out what should i do

Hey Capt! going by your profile your only 16 yrs old so i think your mum has every right of being protective of you and wants to know where you are most of the time its not asking that much imo just being a parent.... is there someone you can go with that your mum trusts aswell???

what time does the party start? you could call when your going in and say your going to a movie and 'forget' to turn your phone back off silent

do wot i did lol i said iwas sleeping over a friends place (which she didn't kno so she could call) and the go to the rave come back in the morning and go to bed and say u haven't bn to sleep all night
p.s to add extra protection make sure ur phone battery will die just as you leave so if ur mum ask you y did u turn your phone off just say that it ran out of battery and show her ur phone that it's dead and also make her see that ur packing a tooth brush in ur bag and mabi an extra shirt lol
this should work provided that the rave finishes early morning

As the others said, she has all the right to be protective, lol.
But, if you're that worried, why not just wait untill you're 18?
In the UK, being 16 and getting into a nightclub can cause big problems regarding the nightclub itself, which means less raves.
But, noone can make your decision, they can only give advice.
It's up to you mate.

do you have to be 21 in us? coz chances are if you do you wont even get in, with my mum i just told her the truth that i was going then from that she knew it would be alrite, coz if it were sumot dodgy i wudnt of told her!
m8 of mine went to the effort of making a whole school letter about a school trip gave it to his mum, got some money to pay for the 'school trip' then as far as his mum knew it was away with school for the weekend.
id jsut go and if she finds out she finds out, just say you were bullied into it
