I know 2006 is not over yet, but I'm just wondering here. How has the rave scene changed in your area?

The Atlanta rave scene has grown big over the last year. We got 2 new venues opened up, "Spring4th" and "Studio980". Spring4th is a private empty building used for various things, get togethers, raves, fetish parties, etc. in the heart of Midtown, Atlanta. Studio980 is located on the outskirts of West Midtown Atlanta. Its an old warehouse. The attendence is very low for Studio980 becuase its really hard to find if its your 1st time driving to it, so its usually just the same crowd. We got a lot of new productions. AtlPsy brought us the most diverse crowd: Brazilians, Hispanics, people with India heritage in them (wasnt sure if you called them "Indians" or not), Americans, all together in one room dancing. We also got Evolution Productions, Underground Syndicate (I think thats right), and CyberRaver. The candy kid style is still low here, and sadly, I think its going to be low for a while longer, untill we get some Hardcore back in the scene. Thats my overview of my rave scene. I am happy to say that Atlanta has a scene built on respect. Only 1 person has been to rude to me out of the whole year, only becuase I didnt have, or know anyone, that had drugs.

I can't help but feel stupid saying this, but I don't know of any prominent scene in the Detroit area (which seems like not finding senators in a congress meeting I know). Maybe it's just that every single party around here is an 18+ party at some club.
