It seems strange that doctors would prescribe methamphetamine to someone with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) are you sure thats right? I would have thought it would make them more hyper. I know it's prescribed to people with Narcolepsy (Uncontroled falling asleep).
When I was at school I used to sniff magic markers.

Isn't ADHD to do with having a short attention span? Speed will help you focus, send a lass who's had some speed on a cleaning mission and your house will be clean as a whistle in no time!

like jenks said it helps em focus. Also, it effects people with ADHD differently than non-sufferers.
they wouldnt prescribe fckin meth to someone with it though, most likely ritalin or adderal.

There are two disorders of this type:
ADD - Attention Deficit Disorder what Jenks was talking about
ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder
They are of the same type but completely different disorders

I wouldn't say that we know too much as much as most peolpe don't know enough, and such people give drugs a bad name. There is no disadvantage to knowing alot about drugs :) Drugs are never bad (within reason), the only time there is ever a problem is when the user dosn't know anything, or enough, about what they are doing.
