how would i claim copyright on it?
print it and send it off to copyright control?
or just slap that C on it? :]

I was researching all this bollocks a while back...
...if i'm correct, you don't do anything, you automatically own copyright just from creating and owning the image.
*edit* - Yeah i'm right.

you if you can prove you got the original file (if made with photoshop safe the psd) then you got it :) its automatic

ROFL copyright, i recently did an assignment on it and it was so f***** hard ! but yeh Bone and bugbear are right.
*edit*
you should probably still add the C mark to your work, also make sure you add the date and your name. I forgot but theirs a good reason to add the date as it screws up ppl later on if they steal your work =)

you could always mail a copy of it to yourself so you have proof of when you created it
