Yeah it is. Most of the time it comes in luquid form (pure GHB is in powder form, but dissolved in liquid), which means there is no way to gauge the concentration of it, so it is pretty dodgy.

I have heard of GHB. Not somthing I want to try. Why take it to act like that wehn some people are borne that way? Dosn't make sense to me

Its funny... i was reading up on GHB only a few hours ago... I'd never herd of it before, it was an intressting read...
