Just laziness this, but couldn't we have a whole range of clickable smiles on the screen when we post a reply? If we click the 'Insert Smile' button yes you get smilies, but clicking a few times is just too much! If they were presented to us, say at the side, then i could just simply select one and blah blah you get idea!
