What a crazy bastard 
I dont really follow mixed martial arts cos in the past i always found it a bit boring, too much grappling on the floor and not enough combinations and flow to the bouts. I prefer watching normal kickboxing or boxing in general.
But my brother loves it and was showin me some fights of this guy last night had me in hysterics.
For those who dont no he used to be a lineback in american football but got kicked out after failing a test for steroids. From there he's done wrestling, k1 and MMA fights.
The funny thing is in K1 your talking really skillful fighters, technically amazing and can pull off complicated moves and locks aswell as bein in top shape and strong.
The thing that made me laugh so much at Sapp is he's totally the opposite. He's just a massive animal who fights like a big kid or donkey kong but he's so solid he's defeated loadsa K1's top fighters.
He's far from the best but the entertainment values amazing, heres a couple links for those interested.

(Done some research just now and found this vid of Sapp tryin to go for Mike Tyson after winning a K1 fight  . Fair play to Tyson being honest, to not flinch with this 20 odd stone monster comin at you must take some guts. I reckon in a standard boxing bout Mike would take him but no way with any other rules not a chance.)

Cheers T mate that boys kicks were quality.
Definitely getting more into watching this style, i think i maybe just saw a few dull fights at first and thought it was boring.

bob the beast  thats guys just sad doesn't even try to do anything more than just maul opponents only time i've actually seen him fight(and try to do more than just mash the dudes face in) was vs. Kimo but even they he just reverted to the bash him with my meat slab fist
almost reminds me of when i was in vegas when they first started UFC(when there wasn't really any rules)and they pitted this 400+ sumo wrestler versus this skinny ass dude with like 20 years muay thai and savante training,the sumo just got his face f**ked right up
i've kinda been following the local area boiler room fights(f**king vicious dudes,its basicly a think your tough competition that the bikers out here host its got some pretty crazy fighters(my buddy Orion is in for the next one lol i can just picture it my buddy 7'4 350lb solid muscle spanish dude vs. some crazy ass lil bastard) so i've missed alot of the newer pride and k1 bouts.

The skinny dude was Gerard Gordeau. He kicked the sumo wrestler in the face so hard that three of the dude's teeth landed on the judges table.

Sapp struggled against kimbo, who had no stamina,speed or technique (just like sapp i suppose). Tyson has all three PLUS he hits alot harder!
Sapp just wears out almost straight away, Im sure steriods dont rele help him (yeh they help him get stupidly huge but doesnt mean your hard, plus all that muscle will tire him out very quickly). Thts why k1 can be entertaining, guys like this joker gettin their ass kicked by smaller ppl

Just because you're big doesn't mean you know how to fight or throw a punch. Even with all that weight behind him i bet top class middleweights in boxing will get more wight behind there punches than he would, it is all about weight transfer. Looking at the size of him i doubt he could do shit on the mat either so basically he is a punching bag for the top guys as they're not stupid enough to be hit with one of his wild swings.
Against inexperienced and shitty guys he'll win but against anyone decent they'd destroy him. Doubt he'd have much conditioning either having to stay on his toes all the time and shifting position on ground with all that weight, he'd be puffing outta his arse within a few minutes. Personally i loved watching grappling as long as it was offensive. If you know what you're watching it is like a game of chess with each person waiting for a slight opening to get the advantage and get a submission.
Fedor Elemelianenko is the best heavyweight at the moment by miles but my favourites have got to be Wanderlei Silva, George Saint-Pierre and BJ Penn although i haven't seen any results or anything in like a year or so now.
