Good luck m8!

she does seem to like me, and apparantly she used to live really close to me, which i didn't know until last week.

i'll just have to try and let it pass, but first i'm gonna give myself some time to try and tell her how i feel. i'm working with her tonight but i won't tell her just yet but it's gonna be tough for me.

thanks guys for your help :)

Just out of exactly the same situation, And I'd say leave it.
Contemplated telling her (She hadn't started seeing anyone), but was wary of the awkwardness that could arrise from working together if we started going out.
Was crazy about her, so seriously started flirting and being touchy-friendly buyin eachother small gifts etc...

Then she started seeing someone else haha, was gutted but got over it pretty quickly...don't really speak much now though...plenty of fish in the sea..which I quickly found.

If it's meant to be...It'll happen, but definitely leave it for now.

Do you mean her boyfriend works with you aswell? Dunno if that bit i highlighted meant her man or jus another random from your work.

If you think you can get somewhere i'd go for it, unless its a mates girlfriend you've gotta look after yourself. If the shoe was on the other foot he'd most probs do it to you if he fancied your missus.

I couldnt be arsed been mates with someone i wanted as my bird, would just annoy me worse than if i never saw them again. But aye is gonna be awkward findin the time to say to her but best jus do it.

Two cheesy catchphrases for you

Shy boys get nothin

Not fast your last

sorry anno there shit but a lot better than me talkin bollocks.

And charco mate this really aint gettin at you, you no i respect you loads but your posts there jus proove my point.

If you wait around dont be surprised if someone else takes initiative and gets in there. Has happened to me before aswell think it has to everyone, is guaranteed to do your nut in and can only blame yourself.

3 years is quite a while but still, if shes not happy with how things are you could pull it off. A bit of personality goes a long way.

Go swansea, do it for the fans

no it's just some other guy i work with. he seems to hang around her alot like he's her shadow or something and from what i've heard and seen in work she doesn't seem to like him that much.

Hmmm sounds a strange one.

Been thinkin about it a bit more and workin togethers gonna make it really harsh for you mate.

I'd personally go for it and deal with whatever happens but depends how much you like or need your job.

Defo dont do what excy said though and get really close mates, sounds like my idea of a stressful knightmare.

All the best whatever happens anyway mkr

I remember there was this girl in High School. I had a massive crush on her for like 3 years. I was texting one day and admitted I had a massive crush on her, she just replied "thats sweet". I thought into it way too much and didnt follow it up. We spoke about it a couple of years ago and she said she was waiting for me to ask her out. I was like "Dang!" Because this woman was damn fine, totally sound as well.

Missed opportunities suck ass, thats why you gotta grab life by the gonads, do what you feel is right.

This reminds me of my 'I have a crush on my friend' which i started a few months back!

My advice, leave it! Be happy that she is with someone and if you become firends with her, then they could be some possiblity that she would have freinds who are like ehr also...

i think i might have just missed a chance big time...

tonight she was down the club drinking with some friends of hers, as it was her night off, but i think i might have messed up any chance now because about half an hour after the bar closed she came behind the bar and asked me to go out to town with her. i said that i was busy and i won't be finished for another hour or so, now fair enough i think she had a fair few to drink but it felt really personal as she was holding her hand out to me really asking me not really caring about her boyfriend at all, plus she hung around for an hour and then left.

i think i might have seriously f*cked things up...

If things look like their going for the worse...ask her out. You've nothing to loose.

Chris was spot-on earlier....I'd left it, lost out, and had only myself to blame.
Next time I met someone, I asked them out almost straight away to avoid any confusion later and to avoid the 'just friends' situation...We went out, things went well...just hope it continues.

I COULD HAVE missed out on a beautiful woman, I don't think I'll ever know if things would have worked out, I feel as though I could have had her but I've heard others say she's really happy at the min. Everything happens for a reason.
Don't leave things in a 'what if...' state...there's really nothing worse.

I know the position your in is tricky and a lot of people say that you shouldn't date people you work with but go for what you think is right, I've always thought that if you like someone-let them know. That way, If they like you back...happy days. If not, Saves you time chasing something your not going to get.

Go for it.

(I know this is the opposite to what I posted earlier but lifes too short.)

i came close to telling her how i felt last night but i kept getting interupted by other people, so i'm gonna try and give it another shot when i see her in work this friday.

at least it's easier for me to talk about it now because i found it really difficult to deal with at first, but telling you guys and actually telling two friends of mine i know in work how i felt about her has given me a lot of support which i'm really greatful for, so thanks guys and wish me luck.
