hya people!!
welli no u lot probly dont care but i have got my first job interveiw at 3.30 2day. And i am really nervous :(. Has any 1 got any gud tips so i can def pull it off!
really do need a job, My boyfriend is gettin sick of spendin his money on girly things lol.

Stay calm, relax, and just be yourself in the interview. Show them that you are keen (but not desperate), enthusiastic, and really looking forward to the challenge that the job will bring.

its in the shop republic, only want the job coz i shop thyr 24/7 so ill get discount lol!!

Lol, probably best that you don't tell them that!
However it may be worth letting them know that you have done your research on the company, and you agree with the direction that the company seems to be going in, and that they produce some excellent products etc.
Remember to sell yourself and sell the fact that you have excellent people and customer service skills. Then say a little about how teamwork is so crucial to achieving the company's goals etc.

U all shud no that i am probly tha most ditziest person u lot will ever talk to. ( i shud b blonde lol)
ryt so im gunna go in smile alot, say that i imtrested in the job but not act desperate,
the only thing that is scaring me is the fact that they are taking me in the back 4 an interveiw then going to put me on the shop floor 4 half an our.. wah shud i do jus stand thyr and smile at people ?

Yea but not freakishly lol. Just dont panic, itll go fine. My mate is a disaster at meeting people and interviews and stuff, he now works in ASDA!

Good luck with it! Kepp eye contact is what I have been told and if they ask what you plan on doing in a few years time hint that you might still be working. It's a tacktic as employers don't one someone who would leave in a month!

Hit the nail on the head mate. Proper blag it, how much you like the company, how much you'd enjoy working for them, the experience bla bla bla...
...And be aware of your posture...It can tell them if your paying attention or not.
Lean slightly towards them and acknowledge what they say with simple nods or a yes/no between questions.

Hya ppl thnks 4 all ur advice.
well i went in thyr all smiling and happy. sat in the back room while tha lad asked es questions, i answered thm thruthfully. then he sed we are goin to put u on the shop floor. so i went in stood thyr and just bascilly done wah i fort i shud do, ask customers if they needed help and all tha bollacks. the lad kept comin over and sayin well done and all that lot. was on the floor 4 a hour and got telt tha thyr has been ppl in b4 me and i was certanly up 4 the job more thn them. Buh also got telt thy is 3 more people goin in.
i shud find out within a week if i got the job or didnt. will let yaz all no tho.

yeah i really find that writing very difficult to read, it just took me like 10 mins to read it no offence... but hey good luck with it anyways!!!!
