Don't know if this has cropped up before but I thought I'd put it out there anyway. What is your favourite game of all time and on what platform?
I ask this as I've been spending a fair bit of time on Dragon Quest 8 (PS2) recently and even though for an RPG its pretty simple, it's one of the best console games I've played and got me thinking whether it was the best game I'd ever played...
But when it comes to the question, my all time favourite game as to be Frontier - Elite 2 (Amiga) just because it was the first time I'd ever encountered a truly freeform game (where do you think GTA got its ideas from).
I even bought this for PC but since upgrading to Windows XP years ago, and it having no DOS, it has been left collecting dust... If only there was to be a remake for the next-gen consoles...

Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time, for the 64. . . and the Mario 64, ive played the others, just love that one the most . . . nd atm, Oblivion for PC isnt too bad, once u get into it, lol. . . only play it when im bored tho, nd i cant listen to music at the same time. . . music is my number 1 choice, lol
*edit* also Metroid Prime for Gamecube, i am basically a nintendo man :P

for the ps, ps2 and xbox it would have to be the GTA series and the best for the n64 is without a doubt goldeneye
