If you had actually read the post that you referred to here, you would have seen that Ionosphere knows that MDMA can be much more than a simple buzz. He is questioning the number of actual users who understand that fact.
For every one person that realises the positive potential of moderate and responsible usage, there are 10 people that are only popping pills to get rocked and stare at glowsticks all night.

I read what he said, but I misunderstood it. I see what he means now, but I'll still point out that MDMA is STILL more than just "a basic physical buzz" to people that just take it to get ****ed. 9/10 people feel empathy for others under the influence of it. Nothing physical about that.

Agreed. I've not exactly been responsible myself lately though. I had 7 in june and 11 yesterday morning compared to my usual 3-4. I find that 4 isn't enough to get me through an 8 hour rave though.

The empathy toward others and the genuine feeling of openess are some of the positives that I was refering to. The problem is that at many of the clubs around here you will see people just popping pill after pill, sometimes with various other substances. These people then have generally no regard for the music or other people around them and tend to act like *******s for the entire night.
Also IMHO, it may be time to back off a bit if 4 doesn't get you through an 8 hour period. Not trying to preach about it, it's just that I have about 12 years of experience on the subject.

I'm not a heavy user. This is the first time I've had them without having a quarter-year break and the pills weren't from my usual source. I think they were weak.
I've only taken them 6 times in my life.

Instead of trying to go to a rave totally clean, why not try something less harder than pills.
Perhaps smoke weed + drink alcohol, or do a little bit of base.
then next time just drink and smoke, then next time do less, i think you get where im coming from :p

smoke makes u feel tyerd, base is a vyle drug along wid speed and has got the worst come down ever.
drink is alrite though, just makes u fall over and sh.it.
sniff just makes me chat sh.it all the time and not dance.
so the only option is pills, witch on average i drop lyke 5 - 10.

Base IS speed. Both have nasty comedowns, but speed in base form tends to be worse.

Cocaine would give me the energy to dance but I believe that in the long term it's a lot more harmful than pills, so I'm not taking that anymore. Correct me if I'm wrong. I get slight comedowns (only last about half an hour) and awful hangovers with that as well. A lot worse if I mix it with alcohol.

On Friday i was at a techno night in edinburgh
At 3pm i started drinking by 3.30pm i started on the lines and didn't stop
By 8pm i had snorted so many lines i lost count (also drank numerous pints)
9pm i triple dunted 3 pills (sharks)
11pm went to the club took a bomb of mdma in the que
and that was me all night, it was f*cking excellent!!!!
i was also smoking some quality northen lights skunk!!!!!!!!
