Just eight left to print out by tomorrow!!!
How is thins for the rest of the college students here?
I'm tired and need a fag!!! On top of it all it's the big move from Parkstone (Poole, Dorset) to Wallisdown 2moz! When I leave for college in the morning I will walk down Khyber Road for the last time and then in the evening make way home on a double decker yellow bus back to Wallisdown!

Actually start and finish 10 assignments in one day? And it's onlt 6.30..ish?
Either they were very short assignments....or they are of very poor quality.
Don't mean to diss you smoogie, But considering having spent 9+ years of my life doing assignments- I find that bull***t. To do all required research, do the drafts and get the final piece of an assignment- you'd be lucky if you got one done in 2 days...

^^ Yeah but they're probably A-Levels, and they are a piece of piss (well some of them are)
Even Uni is sometimes a joke. I spent one night doing a 2000 word politics essay (international relations) which requires quite a lot of reading, while not knowing much about the course as politics isnt my main subject. Overall I spent 12 hours doing it, went to breakfast, handed it in, and got about 60 per cent on it (2-1)
Just to mention that you get one essay a term for this module, so apart from lectures, this was the only work I did for this module in 10 weeks. Not surprisingly though I think I've failed the exam (which actually counts towards grade, therefore instead of having fun in summer eg Creamfields, camping with mates etc, I'll be resitting a single exam)

You proved my point, You took 12 hours to do a 2000 word essay. Not 10.
I'd messed up at uni too, but it was programming and database exams. Passed the harder of the two...but put that much effort into passing the hardest exam-failed the easier part (Still hard).
Had to fork out 300 quid in tuition fees and do both tests again. B******S.
Had my head screwed on next time around and passed both easily.
Graduation now in november!!
If there were actually 10 pieces of work, you did start and finish them on the same day...they seem too short to be classed as an assignment as most assignments are worked on through the course of a few weeks. It's only us lazy **** that end up doing it all at last min! haha

Anyway congrats on graduating. All you need to do now is pay off the student debt, which hopefully isn't too much. My mate stupidly deferred a year so he's starting this september, only to find that his tuition fees are three times the amount of mine cos the new top fees. He's going to be a cool 20k in debt when he graduates

What do you study smoogie?
I was on the brink of a breakdown these past few days. because I need to get all my work done before camping. Managed to complete my research and methodology unit and my health and social care provision assignment today, took about 3 months :/
Just got to write a short bit on a few more approaches to counselling and therapeutic practises and I am done!
Well, I lie, Tomorrow is my final day at college for the year and I have a whole assignment to do tomorrow.
Oh yeah, and then when I get back from HCT2 I have 3 days to do another two assignments
F*CKSAKE!
I guess you can say I am a bit stressed with it all right now.

Same here Emma! I can't even motivate myself to do them though that's the problem, here is the plan!
Tonight: Sports psychology
Tomorrow: Voluntary sports club
Sat: Principles of coaching
Sun: Day off England are on!
Mon: Health and safety
Tues: Enterprise i sport
Then done, months of doing nothing and months of microwave meals!

Cheers Bidd. I'm lucky enough, My student dept is only around 12 - 15 thousand...but don't need to worry about that til I earn over 15k a year. The idea of the new top fees is just stupid. It's hard enough to pay things as they are.
Best of luck in re-sitting your exam in the summer. Hate re-sits with a passion!! Always feel as though I shouldn't have to do them but it's always due to me being lazy first time round....ahhh. Will I ever learn...

finished this year of college an hour ago! :)
so happy now cos the second years a lot more fun and i've worked my ass off in the past few days, and not only that but i've got 3 months off! lol :D

I have about 10 assighments to do by next week, and 2 to do by Monday :P They aren't all neccesarily the kind of thing i can just do quickly either, some will take alot of time :P

Agreed!! As a uni student myself they must've been tasks or half finished assesments or....of just poor quality lol because no assignment i've ever been given has taken me less than a full day

If I pass the course or not, we are going to party, and our tutor (who thinks we are all 5 years old) is going to have to spend most of summer cleaning her car!!!
