Me and my partner in happy hardcore(DJ Taylor) where doing a private party for a friend. He was mixing and i was MCing. It was a good night. At the end of it someone came up to me and said my style was good but it was to hip hop. Is there a big diffrence???????

I wouldn't worry so much about what u would lable your style as.
All i have to say is a good MC can roll out the origional rhymes non-stop, but should know when to shut up too, so he isn't covering up all the lyrics the track...
Remember an MC is supposed to add to the music, not take away from it...
there are many MCs out there, few of them (at least hear in Noth America) seem to be able to master this.

i'm going to have to agree :)
it's nothing personal against MCs or anything.... it's just the majority (NOTE: not the VAST majority)... i find annoying
just be careful... time yourself carefully.. and for the love of god, remember an mc's job revolves SO very much aroound quality, NOT quanitity

Like a bolt of lightning it's so frightning..Get ur brain now we're igniting

For me i try to have diffrent styles in my mcing and try to be a differnt as possible.
plus have a good mixture of lyrics and free stlying. i also have some lyrics or rhymes that the crowd can go along with or shout out to. o and tyy and keep your lyrics orignal coz i hear allot of the same words said all the time, which can get boring after a while.
Erm the hip hop style, i fink that all depends on the hardcore at the time.
