love this thread half a pill! in my day u had to have half a pill coz they were so f**king expensive! I dropped one last Xmas but wasn't the buzz I was used to! (could of been a shit one though) only have beer and whizz these days when i go out (and thats not often)

I can't remember when i took my first jack. All i remember was this indescribeble lift! thought i was gonna float through the ceiling or somethin! but then again, i am slow to react to things so an hour later after taking it, still waiting to feel something i thought, ahh screw this i wanna trip! so i just knocked in another couple and 20 minutes later i was high as kite.
It was really weird though through the night (without taking anything else booze or otherwise) i would come up for a bit feel a certain rush, come down hard. come up again with a diff type of rush, down again as hard.
i had continued doing them every so often when i went out, nothing major, and it was cause i learned so much about the different ways they effect you.
i had my up loved it, when i came down i hated it, and i remember saying to myself remember this feeling, for next time you make a decision on if you wanna do anything when going out. then i came back up and was all good.
no comedown when i woke up. i took the night before as a lesson. so i've never let myself go outta control with them. i try not to do them at all anymore but at certain events with certain groups sometimes i like that extra buzz and prepare myself for the downer and accept that it'll happen.
i think so long as you go into it knowing what your doing and having a degree of self control, your fine, but of course there are always problem cases.
i don't need drugs to love my raves i'll happily stay on just water all night. IMO i don't think you should be at a rave if the only way you enjoy it is on drugs. but that's up to all of us.

aye i do no what you mean and i respect that just i cant trust myself, why i like to limit my raves cos i no once im there and had a few drinks they get put infront of me (forcefed sometimes lol) i will eat them and i jus cant be doin it much anymore.
is a personal thing but i jus enjoy it more now its a now and again thing rather than a way of life.
lovin houseparties nowadays get a good group of mates and jus have a laugh indoors with the decks and that, glad i've cut down on the madness jus feel a lot better for it

I'm not denying there's huge temptation, and even taking them doesn't make you a bad person far from it. Its just the ones that are like pissed off and hate their night if they've not had any luck gettin any pills.
thats what i don't get.
yea they intensify your night but if you don't like raving unless your on drugs, why are you there in the first place? to go with the intention of just drugging yourself silly is what i don't get. not that i've been a saint in recent years admittedly

Aye the right time with the tunes you love and loadsa mates cant be beat, i just started finding it a major chure.
Now i only do it the odd time i enjoy it better and my head feels a lot clearer, i'm weak willed and temptation would get me everytime in a rave. I'd like to say different but im not gonna lie, it aint for me really anymore prefer chillin out to hammerin my brain all the time.
I used to give people proper stick wen they wanted to calm down i thought it would never happen to me, but got on top of me bad i cant do it anymore.

Its gotta be done, catches up with us all eventually then ya realise you gotta cut it down a notch, which is all good. no need to cut it out completely, and as you say, you can enjoy more if its not all the time.
