i am pretty new to this web site and its set up, but i have noticed next to your name on the left hand side you are classed as a member like starting member etc. There are also stars there which are all different colours and different amounts. How do they work then ???????? just woundering because i didnt have any before know i have one little green one so how do i get full gold ones and wots others ones do you get for different things. If some one could let me know cheers

The more posts you get the more stars you get. Just ignore it though. The idea is you get to know whos been here longer and that, but in honesty it won't take long to see who has been around long, and who has just got their stars by spamming. Remember, its quality not quantity that matters!
Theres also several other ranks, such as moderator and admin who have the max number of stars that are different colours.

Cheers matey for that. its a very good web site and alot of friendly helpful people on it and of course every one is in to hardcore which is a bonus. Yer you can see who has been here along time because there well known and like by alot of people when looking through the forums its very visible.
Cheers very helpfull, it just puzzled me really on why some had 5 grey stars and some had 5 gold and how i just picked up my first green star. Buzzing

Anyway, yeah, 5 grey is moderator, and 5 gold is a normal member who has become an advanced member.

yeah underloop is way true. i haven't been here for that long myself but i have always listen to the radio since the site started. but i thought i would actually join in on the discussions of hardcore cause i love it so much. so it dont matter about how many stars you have. i just write something if i feel like it.

Moderators have silver stars  , Advanced members have 5 bronze stars and administrators have gold stars.

The moderator stars look pretty dull and grey to me - Kinda matches the personality of the mods actually!

True.
I find the Bronze stars to be a much more striking colour.
(no hint of a Yorkshire accent at all)

Firstly, welcome jessie.
Basically, the stars relate to your number of posts.
The colours are just different so you can see who is who.
Advanced members, admin and moderators all have 5 stars but these are different in colour so you can tell the difference.
Other ratings (Starting member, new member, average member etc) have 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 stars - all of which are different colours.
My advice, forget about post counts and just enjoy yourself here :)
