haha yeah Si's right, well, in theory, But the fact is, she lives other side of the world, never spoke to her lol
I have only ever liked two cats... EVER.
one was Tigger my kitten but it was made into cat pie! ROADKILL!!! not a pretty site! All mangled and shit, like guts all over the road hehe
And t'other is my best mates old cat, cloudy.
But they malt like ****, and pull threads out of clothes and upholstry, cat litter stinks, and the are a weird size... too big to have crawl around in ya hand, and too small to cuddle!
Plus they are the enemy of my other pets... my dog would eat the cat, and the cat would eat the rat... so theyre just not for me!!

^^^Awww, that Tiger is gorgeous, I wish I could have one of my own :(
I've had the same problem, I'm not allowed to have pets in my apartment, so I had to leave my 14 year old cat behind at home with the parental units. I miss her like you have no idea. I aim more for cats than dogs, for starters, I don't like a dog sniffing my ass or licking my hands, not to mention I'm allergic to them. I don't dislike them, I think some are real cute, as long as they stay away from me and not make me break out, lol. cats 4tw imo :)

like SLASHER, i think they're histerical. they're so stupid its so funny.
but like most people i actually have always hated cats until i moved in with my bf. i didn't even want SQUISHY when we got her, because she kept needing my hair when i went to bed. and f@#*! me they fart so bad, i have to leave the room lol.
but then i feel in love with her and then we got ROSSI. and when they play together, ROSSI bites her and then she kicks him in the head. SQUISHY is vey special in the head too, she doent meow! she makes a grunting noise, hides in the most dumbest places. but i will always be a dog person. i used to have a siberian huskie, a girl. she was very special too lol.

I like Cats.
....and anyway, what's all this dogs are 'better' than cats?
....that's bollox, they're all good in their own way.
....and cats are 'boring'?
If you bother to engage their intelligence rather than have a pet, like a dog, that constantly seeks your attention and approval, very much like a child does,
which massages the owner's sense of worth and importance, unlike a cat that doesn't constantly 'big you up',
you'll find that most cats have huge character.
Character is a pre-requisite to true independence and individuality.
I like Cats.

Having been attacked by dogs on more than one occassion, just because, like a lot of their owners, they can be a bit full of themselves
I had a deep mistrust of them, plus my best mate had a *uckin' huge Alsatian that looked like a wolf and it had a really bad memory
so it kept forgetting that I was part of the pack and had to be held back every time I went round there,
even if I'd only been gone for ten minutes.... stupid b*stard animal.
However, by changing my attitude to dogs, me and dogs get along fine now.
....maybe you should try it with cats.

i think i should mate hahaha, not right as a grown man i still hate bein around them.
my uncles got a few massive ones, some american breed and it stops me wantin to visit him sometimes.
do need to snap out of it, i got attacked by a stray dog my mate found once aswell but i've been around them loads and i still feel fine with them.
sack that he is fed the dog chocolate, we were only kids but about half an hour later he skitzed out and attacked us both.
again went straight for my arm and wouldnt let go
but aye i more blamed my mate for that, suppose though aint like all cats are that vicious but my mates one i talked about was a prick.
mentalist cat i've saw it chase dogs around, infact for that i give it respect was hilarious

Yeah, my mates got two massive huskies. theyre goooorgeous!!
I have a Kerry Blue and she is a nutter. She is about 7 now, but we have only had her 3 years. And she is still the size of a pup because she was the runt and hasnt really grown up properly :( Which is a shame because massive kerry blues look beautiful :)
Apparantly despite their nature of being perfect family dogs and brilliant with young children... I have heard that they have a bit of a reputation for fighting! Shes an Irish terrier, and the other day we realised why they fight them. She went for a staffy and wouldnt give in and wouldnt come back when we called her! she went skitz and she won [:o] she had blood dripping from her mouth, pretty sick if you ask me!! But I find it hillarious because she looks like a fluffy lil lamb!
used to have a doberman/rottweiler cross with a white chest with black spots so I reckon theres a bit of something else in there too but he lives with dad now.

Yeah I love huskies. When I'm older and got a big enough place im gonna get me either one of those or a white german shepherd. I'm gonna need to get a new dog soon as I get sod all exercise now since my black lab Spike passed away last year :( Feels weird him not being around I've had him since I was 7.
I don't really hate cats to the point where I would want them savaged by a dog ;) I don't even mind them that much it just seems they ignore their owners unless they want something. Like someone has already said they have no loyalty, if someone lets them in their house and feeds them better food they will stay with that person... But like I say I don't hate them just prefer dogs, my mrs has like 5 cats we all get along well... Infact they come and say hello to me more than they do anyone else in the house
My dad really does ****ing hate cats though lol. He's even got to the point where he is wasting money on cat deterrents... They crap all over our lawn, play with the flowers and claw them off their stems and slaughter loads of birds in our garden (including rare endangered ones). The cats aren't even ours so it is a major piss take really. I do think TBH that people who have cats out in the countryside should be putting bells on their collars!
It's funny to see how some people do react to animals though... I've got a mate who was shit scared of dogs and when she come round she used to run away from my dog when it come to say hello, funny thing is that made him chase after her and she used to shit em even more Funniest part about it though is my dog looked like this:

Hardly a fearsome sight it is. She got used to him though and fell in love with him eventually. We also had a delivery driver round once who ran back to his van when he saw him and said he wasn't coming out till he got locked away.

True it's just that what is good about a dog appeals to me more than what is good about a cat ;) I have owned a dog since a very young age which I loved to bits and therefore I know all the + points to owning one so I'd be bias for that reason :)
