Don't ask why I thought of this, but when you die what song(s) would you like to have played out at your funeral? Considering the nature of this website, would you have hardcore tunes pumping out in church or would you go with the same old emotional stuff?
I've already come up with one idea. I would like to have Adagio by K-Complex, were the song would start off with the classical bit, and everyone would think its the original strings version, but then when all the beats, bass and synths come in everyone would be WTF? Then randomly twenty hot girls will run in and start raving in the church, and there will be strobe lights and lasers and shit.
I know I've thought about this far too much but I was bored, and I hate depressing funerals so mines going to be awesome, small problem is I'll be dead

No it would have to be Adagio for strings mixed by Tiesto!
Or 'Beautiful' by Matt Darey!
ok ok there trance!
Hardcore it would be the tune 'Heavens above'
Anyway am hoping to be around to see my kids grow up and see there kids!
Although i have told them wait until there past 30 before they have families of their own!

My cousins funeral had 'Wild Wild West' playin when the coffin was comin down the aisle, then greenday and coldplay. was cool although my gran was thoroughley disgusted.
I'd probably go for some Leonard Cohen and some melodic chillout tunes......hardcore at funerals is a bit extreme.

My mate had super crazy ill bomb (it's a hard dance track but I can't remember exactly what genre...) playing at his funeral and I have to say it lifted the spirit of everyone there.
I really havn't thought about my funeral at all but I can't see me not having a hardcore track played.

nah, it all needs to be really morbid and depressing! with a massive clash with the costumes that everyone will be dressed in! family in red and black - men in green and women in yellow and orange
I actually want clowns at my funeral, you know them really depressed ones hehe!
Theres a huge list of songs I want played. I am just going to get a huge collection of a songs as I grow older. have like, favs from when I was a baby upwards.
so...
Alma cogan - where will the dimple be?
Pet shop boys - You were always on my mind
something by tracy chapman
Don McClean - vincent
something by fairport convention
Beatles - places i remember
goo goo dolls - Iris
maybe something from silverchair or alexisonfire
NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS ONE! I want canon in D - pachelbel (for my wedding and funeral)
Cant decide whether I prefer it sang in a choir, with strings or woodwind... heh **** it have it all

personally i don't think a funeral is a time to be sad, it is a time to celebrate that such a great person lived and touched so many people's heart or of course if they were a **** and you're happy they died.
i dunno what i'd have to be honest, would have to try and make people laugh that way they feel bad for doing so at a funeral. ohhh and they would have to be either insanely ironic/offensive. maybe like some white power ballad or something. who cares if people hate me for thinking i was a racist, **** you i'm dead
