First of all I would like to say I'm sorry for what you have experienced, as it is obvious these people are utterly pathetic and low. I had a similar (but nowhere near as bad) experience a few years ago when I was 13/14. Some oldish man across the road decided that playing football outside my house was a crime as occsionally a football would hit one of his precious flowers by accident. From this he decided that I was a drug taking scally. One time I was walking back from school and he waited for me to leave my mates until he started threatening me with violence because apparently I verbally abused his wife.
The worse time was one of my mates accidentally hit his window with a ball. Instead of having a go at my mates (who were all a lot bigger me then), he waited til they went and went back in the house. He knew that my parents were out so he knocked on the door and let himself in, shouting at me, raising his fists and picking up a chair. He really wanted to attack me but he kept pulling himself back as he knew i was a kid. Anyway being the shithouse i am i just told him to go away and didnt retaliate. In the end he ****ed off anyway. I rang the police and said that it must be bad for someone to enter another persons house against their will, but as he never actually struck me they did nothing, which to be honest wasn't completely fair but there was no real crime he committed so I can understand this.
Anyway the police said to keep a diary of all the events and things he would say that involved him. Thankfully he died. What annoyed me the most that he thought I was a proper drugged up scally, but I would have loved to go to his face and show him my degree (which hopefully ill get)
Anyway the police will not act until something really bad happens (hopefully it wont come to that). I can understand that you feel like nothing is being done and that there is nothing you can do. As Bristolboy said, you could go and give this person a good slap. To be honest this probably would be the most effective way of stopping it as violence is probably the only thing these people think about. However using violence brings you down to their level, and it also wouldn't leave a good example to your kids. To be honest i wouldn't take my advice seriously anyway but I can definitely say I hope this situation is resolved as soon as possible.

yeah its all the same... i've said it before... the alduts or sould i say... then old folk... judge the youth as scum...
fair play i guess... as evan i do hehe
and with the rise in street crime witch we can all see is down to the youth who can blame them...
just a shame the police don't see this...
the police do alot of hard work yes... but really they do **** all on real problems... theres no justice in todays world... and when the law is put into your own hands... OMFG!!! then they do something... its really stupid... making it your problem...
they need to bring out matrail law...
It would be all gravy then

Sorry to hear about what you're going through, It's a shame that police don't deal with domestic issues....but (Think it was mentioned already here), Isn't there a specific group which deals with this sort of thing?
Perhaps they aren't taking it serious as it is not an occasional or frequent thing (Only guessing here), as it is only happening every one in a while.
Take loads of notes and photos if possible, ignore them and let them dig their own grave. Either they'll get fed up with having no reaction...or if not- you'll have plenty of evidence to sort them out.

i'm not one to give advice on this as i let people talk shit to me and just bottle it up till i get to pissed off and do something stupid. whatever you do don't do that i ended up breaking a kids nose in school like that and another lads jaw. it ain't the right way to deal with it, even though they never gave me shit again. unfortunately that's my problem

yeah theres victim support but i had to ring them usually the police notify them but this case hasnt been dealt with properley. My next door neighbour is still waiting for a visit from the police to give them a statement and to tell them that she witnessed me being struck first!

Well I hope you get it sorted out sooner rather than later - things like that on your mind can really make you live constantly looking over your shoulder.
Good luck.
