Have you tried http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/ free & very good, also you could try http://www.safer-networking.org/ again, free & good. Failing that, I use http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ free online virus scan, also deals with spyware, adware & greyware.

if u click it.. does it take you to a website by the name of SPYFALCON?
if it does
you have managed to become infected with one of the MOST ANNOYING TO GET RID OF pieces of SPYWARE (more like malware/trojan) I KNOW OF
a friend of mine had it before.. it requires you to remove it manually.
if it is spyfalcon, i'll post up a how to guide. (after i find the one that works again)
edit: after checking, it seems there are more names that it goes under now, but esentially the same thing.
however this guide should work.

It does look a little like SpyWare, which means you'll have to do a viruscheck anyway.
Norton should pick-up any potential spyware programs with a virus scan and, if it can't delete them, it will quarantine them.

Download Ewido at www.ewido.net. Even after using Ad-aware it still found over a hundred items!

be VERY carefull with ewido, becuase it will "detect" alot of things that ARENT spyware/malware ect
and cleaning everything it picks up *can* cause alot of problems.
always go through what it finds and decide on each entry yourself.
its good, but its over-sensitive.
