how can you compare a bedroom rave to the real thing? have you been to a rave before? your mum will probably be bringing you bowls of crisp up every 10 minutes and asking you keep the music down

Why are people arsed about what people do in their lives, how they dress, how they act blah blah.
There has been a recent influx on here of 'chavs are this and that, teenage ravers are idiots, emos are weird' and so on. There has also been a lot of childish bickering which is funny to read once in a while but now its getting tiredsome for me. I couldn't give a flying **** about teenage social groups, let them do what they want as you only have a childhood once.
I've never been to a rave so I do not know what the people are like there, but to be honest I wouldn't really care, as long as they didn't start on me or anything. I've learnt that shit happens in life and I'm yet to understand why many people do the things they do, but its their lives, and therefore none of my business.
At the end of the day, if a bunch of teenagers having a laugh concerns you even though they do not affect you directly, then thats quite sad

I'm from Poole too smoogie, next time you set up a rave tell me when/where and i'll bring a few friends and tell the hh people if it was a "real rave" :)

Ever been to Parkstone. Go there and hear the beats from my house (Soon due to move to Wallisdown). It would get louder the closer you get to my house! Knock on the door and ask for Smoogie, and you might get in!

The people who do it for attention are abit of an insult to truelly depressed people. I mean purely people who just do purely it for attention aswell, (that's not an insult to emo's, i just don't want to confuse people) type of people, and they are an insult because they actually have alot to be happy about, but are too unnapreciative and self centred to see that. I do not include anyone who is actually depressed here at all.

At end of the day theres depression and theres DEPRESSION,
i had manic depression when i was younger, made me really hyper and i did slash my wrists the odd time when i went in a mood.
At end of the day it was blatantly a release of rage and attention seeking, i never wanted to die i was just a stupid kid.
But there was people at my counsellers who would make out to ther parents they wanted to kill themself by basically scracthing there wrists .
