Smoogie as usual you are talking shit! As you have never been to a rave how do you know what they are playing???
I went to the Opera House in Bournemouth on Saturday and yes there was a fair amount of the music you hate there was also a fair share of other stuff too as is usual at a rave. Stormtrooper B2B Injured Rezz played a brilliant set.
Also btw for you bedroom ravers the music you listen to on the compilation CDs is played at raves by the big dj's but more often than not it is pitched up, with harder bass and beats and sounds a lot harder than the cds.

Risborough festival is nothing special but if we get to put a dance tent there it should make it worth while. I'll let you know if it happens anyway maybe you'd consider coming along for a bit :).

If you actually went to a rave you'd find out that this isn't the case. Uproar last weekend for example 4-5 odd hours of mainly 95-97ish happy hardcore that would have been right up your street, some oldskool breaks sets and an entire night of gabber in another room... Much more exciting than sitting in your bedroom on your lonesome.

Most decent raves (even the more 'commercial' looking ones) have good, varied line ups now.
