Because it takes longer to read what you are saying. You might think it is cool to write like that, but others think it's rubbish.

Its probably a subconscious thing. Talking lyk vat wiv bad spelin is usually assosciated with thick people. For instance, have you ever read any Terry Pratchett books - the trolls being the obvious connection. Coz they iz fik in they!
Chavs are often assosciated with being thick too due to the way they act and the fact they don't bother with stuff like school, and so 99% of them can't spell either.
Also the fact that every single chav (self procclaimed or guilty by assisciation) who has been on this forum has typed like that. I'm not saying everyone on here who types like that is a chav, but 99% of chavs on here type like that - hence you see the assumption.

msn is global. most people type informally on msn, as in disregarding grammatical technicalities such as capitals and punctuation.
however, note that having msn does not mean you have to write like a refugee (not even here).
i hope you dont talk like you type. if living in that particular area results in lingual disability, it is best advised that you move elsewhere immediately.
seriously, learn to type properly, because i really break my feckin eyeballs.

We're not discussing how you talk, but how you write. You type like you speak, eventhough writing and speaking are very diffrent things.

I do like the fact that when you try to write a sentence like it should be written, you still don't use any kind of punctuation, and you keep swapping and changing from the text typing to proper typing when you don't mean to. It just goes to show you how deeply ingrained into your brain this actually is.

well one thing i did learn is that before or after the word and u should never use a comma so i think first you should get your punctuation right before you tell me how and when i should use it

Well again you prove how your wrong just by talking. Admitedly my use of the comma was incorrect, but you can use a comma after the word "and".

Three pages and nobody has mentioned the obvious point.
This like all websites can be viewed and used by people across the world.
Most of the world do not speak English as their first language. Spare a thought for the people who use this site from places other than the UK.
Even the people from the states who use English as their first language will have troubl comprehending what you mean.
