I think whether you believe in God or not, Religious holidays are good.

For example... Christmas, probably the one day of the year that the whole family makes an effort to see each other all at one time. Whether you are religious or not it is a good day and nearly everyone enjoys it, so I therefore think it is important to celebrate religious holidays even if you are not religious, just for the family aspect.

But I can understand people getting annoyed at using religious holidays to earn themselves shed loads of money.

personally i hate religion but i realise that is my choice just like if people want to believe in scientology. i don't believe in a god or any kind of prophet but i also don't judge people that do. i just hate when people start trying to persuade other people into their beliefs and judge others.

on the topic of jesus just thought i'd bring up this, pretty much what i think about easter aswell

Anyway, my link to easter is. I stayed at my mates last night, her lil sis was munching her lindt egg and i go "So, tell me, what does that egg symbolise" and she replied "uhm, i dunno.... jesus?"

i said "no, it symbolises the rock that shut jesus in a cave" and her mum said "bah, lies, the egg is just there to reflect spring time and new beginings"

so my question is.... what is easter?!

you disgust me quite frankly

the egg has nothing to do with the rock its just what your r.e teacher tells you, the egg symbolises new life as it is the start of spring!
