ermm where i live is not famous for anything......lesley garret came from near where i live though....about 7 mile away.

nearest town is famous for steelworks and dickheads.....thats about it

Newbury - famous for vodaphone. there are only 2 teams in the country sponsered by vodaphone, one being Manchester united and the other being A.F.C newbury.

lol yes Poole is well known. Parkstone itself was once where the railway workers lived along with those who worked in the sand pits making bricks (I think) From the late 1870s to about 1910 the area grew from nothing to what it is today! The town goes back to around the 1500s but grew in the 19th, 20th and 21st centurys. Borunemouth grew from 1 house in 1810 to somthing even bigger! than Poole it's self although the oldest buildings found in Bournemouth are in the subrub of Kinson... The list goes on!

Yeah some wierd s**t down my way... probably says something about the kinda people who live here. We held a free party down the sculpture trail that table's from, it was funny as to see all the messy people's reactions when they stumbled across it.
