OK I've just totted up what we've managed to raise through the Progress Event on IntenseRadio.co.uk .
The grand total so far including donations, auctions and pimpage of Ionosphere's body mix comes to a grand total of something daft like £238.54 (I think off the top of my head)..... now seeing as this is a daft amount and I'm sure Save The Children has enough coppers through its collection boxes I've decided to round it up to £250 out of the Intense funds (ie my pocket lol).
This is a fantastic figure, and more than I thought we could ever raise and thats down to each and every one of you who donated wether it was big or small - and I have to say the generosity of a few of you has impressed me seriously, so thank you everyone!
I'd also like to thank everyone involved with the show: Simon, DMS and Emmy for support, ideas, general forum pimpage and for being my sounding board when putting this together and DMS for masses of tunes donated to "the cause", the Ionosphere boys for TOP support, ideas, goodies, a fantastic mix and for bigging everything up to the masses - you guys have no idea how much you helped bring it all together so a huge thank you!
Nick Bang! for jumping straight onto the idea. You were one of the first people I spoke to about playing at this and your enthusiasm for the idea gave me the confidence that I could pull it off and make it a success, and also for donating some most excellent records, CDs and an excellent set!
Sean Apollo for standing in last minute after being let down - you truly are a life saver mate!
Ponder & HB for possibly the best headline set I could have hoped for! And for the comedy moments! It rounded the night off perfectly for me, and fortunately I stopped running round like a blue arsed fly in time to listen to this without having to worry about cueing up more voiceovers!
Silver, Milo, Tommy Renegade, Frank Exhile and Ryan Harmonic for providing some most excellent tuneage for the event. I know you guys were extremely busy with one thing and another, but you all managed squeeze the time into your schedules for this, so thanks!
Anyway, enough brown nosing lol.....
The "donation line" on the IntenseRadio.co.uk website is now reverting back to normal, however if you do want to make a donation either go through the link on the home page and add a note saying you want it to go to the Progress Event.
Alternatively the Ionosphere set is still up online so go over to http://www.uk-vinyl.co.uk/ionosphere.html and grab that and while its downloading click the donate button at the bottom and that will still come up as being a Progress donation.
And as a further alternatively, there are still some items we're flogging on ebay, more details of which can be found here
So thats it for the Progress Event ladies and gentlemen, big thanks to everyone who tuned in and thank you for your support. Until next year........

Excellent news Matthew mate, you did an excellent job of putting the whole thing together - especially with all the various setbacks you had to put up with! A lesser person would have given up without a fight months ago!
Personally, it was a great honour to be asked to be involved - and lots of fun too.
Can't wait for next year, you've created a monster mate!!!...........
