Well I finaly took the plunge and bought by self a pair of Gemini XL200's and PX60 Mixer, now to get spinnin.

Congradulations! I plan on buying 2 PT-2100's this summer and a Vestax mixer. How many vinyls do you have? Hopefully more than 5.
Since I haven't started spinning and beatmatching yet, would you want to tell me how hard you think it is to do as a beginner?

So my collection is growing week by week
I will tell you as soon as I have a proper go, only have em set up on the dinning room table at the moment connected to some dodgy radio/tape that happened to have a mic socket, need to put a worksurface in up here for em so i can get em connect to me amp.

another problem is when I finaly do get a job im gonna be torn between saving for a car and blowing it all on tunes :-(

Be careful dave, records are like black crack!!! Once you get really serious about it you will find your financial status dwindling very very rapidly. hahaha but its all worth it to throw down some awsome tracks

Dont I know it, I was very close to becoming over drawn this week due to over doin the tunes, just managed a last minute dash down the bank to top it up before they tried to cash the cheque.

I would say in the last 3 months i have spent over $800 on tracks. But i gots me a pretty good collection to show for it.

one thign that helps save $$$ is having not having a consistent woman =P saves a ton of money and time where you can mix and check out new tunes ;)
