i notice that on all of these music videos you have the dj in the background with a pair of decks and a mixer. what makes me laugh is that they are spinning the 2 vinyl back and forth and pulling stupid faces, trying to make it look as if they are scratching. we all know that they are not . so why do they do it?
i also notice aload of people asume that is how you mix. they walk into the vinyl shops and imediatly begin spinning th vinyl backward and forward, being realy harsh on the needle.
i can understand that they do that because they think that is how you mix, but i dont understand why music videos do that. any1 help me out here?
im not moaning, im jus confused. why cant the djs jus stand behing the decks and nod their head with headphones on, bottle of carling in one hand and pizza in the other. we all know thats how its realy done

Hmm, pizza and vinyl...I'm not sure I'll be trying that one myself.

you would be quite suprised. it does work. the only problem is you might mistake the pizza as a vinyl and put it on the turntable. but apart from that, nothing can go wrong.
look at it this way, djs could make more money because they would be advertising the food products.
"hixxy brings to you a fresh slice of dominoes pizza. fed up of pizza? then why not wash it doen with our sparkling spring water created by dominoes pizza also. bringing you the music, the djs and the grub."

many of the videos ive seen, you see dj's cue'ing up records - i think it looks kind of silly also. PVD's videos tend to have alot of him just playing out to crowds of people
