Is lent a general christian thing or is mainly catholic, just interested as i really dont no anyone who's giving anything apart from stricht catholic friends until i read this thread?
Anyway i wont be giving anything up, i'm not religious so dont see the point of giving up something i enjoy for no reason.
To all the people giving up smoking, all the best i hear it's harder than smack so have respect for you trying.

I gave up smoking for new years (thank god) still not smoking, get the cravings but doing well.
Maybe i'll give up not smoking for lent...hmmm.

I think its just us catholics, i dont remember any1 else doing it but i could be wrong.
I always struggle to find things to give up i try to be realistic, sex?not a chance, maybe chocolate.....i'm like DJ Jaxon i just quit the smokes aswell clean and clear baby lol

to be quite honest i lost them quite a while ago, but i will find them for you they are hiding somewhere along with my plot i will chuck that in fo you as well if you want? not quite sure howmuch they wiegh/ im sure you could have a trial squeeze however im prettuy sure last time i checked marbles were made out of glass aint they?
