theres a small charge. not much though, obviously higher charges for higher priced goods in order to make the money back and a small profit.
some things 50pence a week, some things £3.50
Also do charity events and sell donated clothes and toys for a good cause :)

that's fair enough. ive spoken to parents who have spent over £1000 ( seriously ) on educational schemes which are worthless, also feels like they dont have much faith in us to educate their kids! what sort of course are you on?

We got our big vibrator at work back from being fixed the other week. Before we can use it we have to commision it, and check it out at maximum, displacement, velosity and acceleration by means of a sine sweep.
At max acceleration we have bits of paint coming off the ceiling....... I wouldn't like to hook that up to a PC for a massage!

Yes tom of the major variety.... i have considered teaching, but it doesnt appeal to me, your either an amazing teacher that holds the concentration and respect of their students, or a complete twat that kids hate and abuse. Hit or miss and i know my luck 
Plus it involves higher education..... MORE EDUCATION bah no way pedro!

dude no... thats a horrible job....
i say this becuase i actually work part time at a nursing home. I work in the kitchen and just give tea and coffee to the people there and give them their meals etc... Its actually a really sad place to work, people come and go and i could never EVER be a nurse. I wouldnt care what wage i got paid, some of the stuff that they have to do it just not very... well i couldnt do it.
Also its really hard being there when people want to talk to you and ask you to do all these things and you just have to leave or say "ill be back in a minute" then don't come back. I know people are probably going to have a go at me for that last comment but you only really understand when you are there. Basically you have time constratints, i have to give tea and coffee out and collect all their meals in a ward in an hour, i dont have time to chat and do special requests all the time. I try my best but yeah...
Basically its not a fantastic job and it takes only certain people to be able to do it, sorry about my long rant.

i know it's not everyones cup of tea but i love teaching, the children can relate to me to some extent because im still fairly young. i cant think of any other job that has a comparable level of job satisfaction. one kid said last year that he wished i was his dad, not bragging but that was amazing for me!
