thats my aim. all my m8s listen 2 me because they know that i am a random and clumsy DJ. duznt do my serious aproach 2 hardcore any gud, but its bout the music, not the seriousness (if itat is a word). the way i see it i can express myself on the decks, and i do. some people lyk it, some people dont. i think if i ever do need to change my name i will change it to DJ Controversial.

How about DJ Spaz..?

No, in all fairness, I agree with all of what you just said. "its bout the music, not the seriousness" agreed, I think alot of people these days forget that music is fun. And are so quick to have a go at people if they make mistakes or arn't as good as them.

This I like: "the way i see it i can express myself on the decks, and i do. some people lyk it, some people dont", indeed, who cares. If they don't like it, then don't let them change your style (unless your trying to play hardcore at a Norwegian piano bar).

the stupidist thing ive ever done was drop my spliff on the vinyl when i was in the middle of a mix, the needle done a lurrrvly bunny hop,i never smoke over the deks now. but when i was at a rave once, this girl was mashed and headbutted the turntable accidently, and the tune skipped then the dj leant over the dj booth and spat on her!!! ill never forget that, she was on tha floor and every ting! people moshing on her, the lot! thatll teach the junkie whore to stay of K! hah!

the prob is that i foget that its bout the music sometimes, despite ll those tunes which represent that. pure example is bang 9. class tune, has the meaning and everything. i find that the best thing i can do when i loose the energy is to slam that tune on, jus chuck it in, spin back or anything, straight into that powerful break. its tunes like that which inspire me to mix how i do. i can mix all formaly and perfectly, but i dont get half as much fun out of it. my most enjoyible sets have been when i just shove 1 energetic tune on after another, jus letting the music take control. as my m8 once sed to me
"is the DJ's job to control the music or does the DJ let the music take control?"

i think most DJs would look at that and say its their job to control the music. but i would go with the other approach. perhaps this is why i mix slightly diffrerently.

Really confused myself on a 3 deck mix once. Slammed a new track on and then took the wrong needle off the tune cut out (obviously) but there was still something playing and i just stood there for a few seconds blank expression. I couldn't put the track back on cos what was still playin had a beat and i'd have to cue it up. At that point i remembered I'd sped up a DJ Scratch loop on the third deck - DOH!!!!!!

i think i myt have even done that before. i had a 3rd deck pluged in (admitidly it was an old turntable most prob constructed in the early 80s) but i soon took it of after i realised how complicated it all can get. since then i havnt tried it. i prob will try again soon, as if i dont need to add to my existing mistakes already

lol well i know i've puked all over the side of my mates decks and the floor(which lovingly spattered all over one of the dancers boots)one night when i got put on the decks at a warehouse party so we could have battles, noone was really surpised cause everybody was right smashed, and we were doing yagger bombs while mixing..

I have a couple

I played cue on the wrong cd player

that sucked...it was like...pure silence

LOL

other one is that I was on a 5 channel mixer and the monitor was shitty so I mixed in my headphones....I didn't realize that I had the wrong fader up tho so when I EQd the track I was mixing out of I basically had no bass and less highs/mids after I switched basslines LOL

(I was mixing into nothing lol)
