Do you prefer male or female vocals on a track? I defo prefer male vocals I just think it suits hardcore better! but thats my opinion! but I'd say 80% of hardcore tracks have female vocals! so I must be in a minority!

Female vocals are great when they're singing, but i'm not adverse to some male vocals as long as they're well done (such as scott brown - fly with you... but in that track the female vocals are more powerful... go figure...)

I like all vocal :)
Because in the hardcore we know in holland we don't have to many anymore singing along with the beats...
Only oldskool records of critical mass, nakatomi, party animals and such have really nice vocals...
Today Dutch Hardcore just bass and breakbeatz one after the other :(
That's why I like UK style so much... It's cheerful, no matter who sings the vocals...
To bad there isn't much UK style in Holland... Only name that you will come accross is Scott Brown's...

i only like a few male vocalists, the stand out male vocalists for me are Ant Johnson and Darren Styles.oh and Cube::Hard - he did the vocals in 'see you on the other side'
I like female vocals aswell, Lisa Abbott i think is the best by far! I find a Vocal track gets boring much quicker than a non vocal track!
I really like it in freeform like tracks or other tracks like Enjoy/Pull over/Neckbreaker where they will have more of a sample than a vocal, that they may squeeze in just before the track drops. If you know what i mean?

i pefer female vocals, but then i supose it depends wot mood the song is giving of. i dnt fink it would hav as much energy if u had female vocals on recons tracks, but then it would be weird if u had male vocals on songs lyk hevans above and all that hixxy stuff. so i recon it depends. all gud stuff wit me, so long as the tune has energy

I used to prefer female vocals, but now I think it really depends on the track. I'm leaning towards male vocals, really.
