I think we should of brought them home a long time ago.
As soon as the investigation into the weapons off mass destruction concluded tht the Gorvernments 'suspicions' were false.
This made it plain to see that Bush's motive was always about the £ (oil).
In an ideal state we would never of been there, but now we are there we are in deep, although the Iraqi ppl are rebellin' there is a greater number who aren't and if we pull out they will be left in a very bloody situatuion.
But that would also be nature taking its course....

can't leave the place as it is, saddam was a c**t but have to say he kept things under control over there.
Extremists, rebels etc were too scared to do half the shit thats going on now when he was in charge, if we leave it in a total mess with no law there was no point in taking him out in the first place.
It's a bad job for our boys but when we went in we went to do a job, when it's done they'll come home.
I was pro the war at the time and have a good few mates over there, it's defo came out a mess but i still dont think it's the right time to leave.
Still dont think i really no half the facts about it so would like to here more opinions from people who do.

I can't help but feel there is an even bigger issue in our own country, the relationship between the muslim community and everyone else is getting really bad. All it will take is for one Muslim protest to get violent and the white community will go mad.
I'd like to say I'm completely for integration but I just can't anymore. The way the muslim community (although a minority of it) handled the Muhammod Cartoon fiasco was terrible. If they didn't want to live in countries where freedom of press and speech was a large aspect of our notion on democracy then they shouldn't be here. I'm sorry but thats just how I feel about it. I am a Christian, and frequently endure slander towards my religion, whether through press, or athiast opinion or whatever.....but I would never burn buildings, mimic a mass murderer or proclaim death to all in athiast countries, and I would be ashamed to be associated with anyone who did such things. People are entitled to their own opinions, the sooner these extremists catch on, the better.
Look at what happened in Oz, with the race riots not very long ago, that could easily happen in the UK.
Rant over.

my theory is:
for every 1 soldier brought home....
4 unwelcome,illegals sent packing to their own country...
should help balance things out a tad.

happens over here quite often bc mate, aston not long ago then in last 15-20 years places like mossside, brixton, oldham, bradford etc have all had major riots between different groups.
Glasgow came very close when that poor wee boy got killed, cut into pieces and dumped outside the celtic shop not long ago. That really got to me cos the people who done it were well known to everyone as gangsters and scum, all the wee boy had done wrong was go out with an asian lass.
Judging a full race of people over stuff like thats terrible though, not saying fighting back is always wrong cos it's not but if someones a good person he should never be treated as scum because of what dicks have done.
