I personally disagree mattykins. You fall in love = you become attatched = feelings are involved. you have a bust up and you get hurt

I know how much you must have like her. But playing with your feelings as she did, only says that she is not the one for you (apart from being friends) to spend your life with. Seeing/reading how you feel, it takes time to regain the trust in her, she broke with her action...
Love is a tricky thing... true... It can make you and break you in the wink of an eye. Even saying somewhere that you want to see what is best for her and then move on, you should focus on you!
Even saying that seeing her happy will make you happy, is a wrong asumption... In the end, you are the only one that can make YOU happy.
wether that's in a relationship or not... But I trust you'll know this too

I agree with most of what you said, but I never mentioned "love" or "rest of my life", thats a bit too strong. Sure I had feelings, but I can't say if either of those where/are true ;)

no-one likes a guy/gal that is clingy. everyone likes there own space and to live their own life, when someone gets clingy the other person gets pissed off as they feel they're being invaded.
