Anyone used one of these? Would like to know:

A. If they're any good.
B. If they're available in the UK at all.

Could have some mad fun with one of those in the summer :).

Yeah I thought so :)

It would need pitch shifts and also to be battery powered, speakers would be nice but not essential cus I have a ghetto with an audio input socket.

well for pissing about on i would go for it.......does the same job just not as good as youd expect a expensive system to do......which is obvious lol :/

ive played on the homemix dj system from the same range but it has seperate speakers and stuff tht wasnt bad at all if you know how to mix it wrks p[retty well for its price range etc

looking at the price id just look on ebay for a set of cdj's. my mate has just sold a set of gemini cd decks for £160, + a basic mixer £190. mount them on an mdf board and fire away. thats going to be a lot better than a home mix setup. unless you can get one of them second hand for £60 ish, that would be a steal

OK cheers guys. Heh I've used one of those round someones free house Jaxon and it was bloody god awful lol, If there all like that maybe it's not such a good idea. I think you could be onto something with the fixing to a plank of wood idea :P I could get some CDJ's and a mixer shove them in a small coffin I could fit across the backseats and just take that out. Main problem with that is how could you power it without heftin a geny about? Like I say I've got a bloody loud ghetto that I can wire the mixer into so sound aint a problem just need something that can power 2xCDJ's and a mixer that's portable.

No on closer inspection I think your right. I know a few people who "mix" hip hop who think mixing is just fading out one tune and playing the next and I have decided that this is aimed at such people.
