Im fortunate enough to be around my freinds and peers that NEVER hear this music. Im not confident in my mixing yet to go play out. But it never fails that i have someone at my house that loves hardcore while im tooling around on my decks.

NOw to the point:
Taking a page right from Kevin Energy and his crew, I, at one point thought to myself that when i tell my freinds (ESPECIALLY THE GIRLS!) its "hardcore" i get a face, then i find myself explaining its not the happy crap people used to dis and its definately not stuff that just blows your ears out for hours and gives you headaches. I said its more like 'New Energy' or "High-Energy" music. to me that goes well. Im not tying to start a movement or revolution to change the name but to me it works. Anyone else ever contimplate that another type of discription works well for this music.

Not a bad idea! We have similar problems, maybe we will use this new name for hardcore. :)
