One of my absolute favourites. Bring it on, haters.
I have to agree I am STILL a big fan of this song and I'm completely 1997 at heart. the fact it's so uplifting and catchy is what brought me back to the future in terms of hardcore, things are a bit different now for me but I still love this tune

Had a feeling you'd agree with me!
It is a truly feel good tune. Even though the lyrics (not that lyrical content is something that concerns me, or something that I look for in hardcore) are about being saved. It's just so simple and effective. I rarely pick it out to play on purpose these days, but when ever it comes up on shuffle or something, I'm well chuffed. I don't get bored of listening to it at all. I can't say that about many tunes - even my total favourites.

Whats this all about samination ????
that is a shit remix. DS save me is better than that
and i actually do like Save Me, still do after all these yrs. i just can't stand a lot of the vocal stuff he's done since then this song is definitely to blame for the terrible vocals he's done afterwards.

Yeah this always makes me laugh, like the people complaining would ever be any different given the same situation. Pure hypocrisy.

i know it's not a remix of DS Save me
it's a remix of Remy Zero's Save me, which is the theme song to smallville. it's still a shit remix and quality wise DS Save Me is way better imo

Rabbish!
Its not Hardcore. Its Popcore.
Hardcore has changed, get on with it
I wanna settle something here right (this isn't aimed at you v-act I've just wanted to say this to EVERYONE).
yes, hardcore has changed, but i really don't understand this mentality that because hardcore has changed one way, everyone has to follow it? If you look at the psytrance scene at the moment 'full-on' has swept it's way across the board and is really popular, with 'darkpsy' and 'psycore' creeping up in popularity too; however there are still loads of people producing the old goa sound and many more psy-ravers loving it and going off to it in fields and such.
the point I am trying to make is; while I love the old skool sound much more; all I hear from old skoolers is 'oh its shit now it all sounds like a load of crap'. No offence guys but nothing is stopping you from producing in the old 1997 style, 1996 style or ANY style. Hardcore doesn't have to go down one path, history has taught us that hardcore can be many different styles, now lets extend those styles and throw out this "out with the old, in with the new" mentality and embrace the whole lot instead of turning our back the moment something new comes along.
sorry for ranting, just my personal view. I think the more people that embrace different styles of hardcore and produce them in 2011 and onwards, the larger the scene can grow and develop in so many unique ways.
Imagine that; the old skoolers that don't like 'popcore' can enjoy wicked raves with fresh sounds that they actually like coming out and those who do like it can have their raves and enjoy the same thing with their music; and as for those of us that like both we can pick and choose what we want to hear and where we want to go for it.
