jsut came off of watching 6 or so hours of it... then the dvd's ran out and the series wasnt done yet *edit*
tis called argentosoma, wicked bit if you're into anime and all

I bought the Ghost in the Shell movie in the January Sales in my local Virgin Megastores, and it's absolutely fantastic
so i went online and ordered the Stand Alone Complex for £30, and i'm half way through that, it's wickid

i used 2 watch anime wen i was 11-12 but i kinda grew out of it, plus i got sick uv bad dubbin n da fact dey all ave wierd pink/blue colourd hair

Anime's the best, but cant watch anything with dubbing, id prefer reading the subtitles.

i watched the now aincient evangellion once..i mean once lol i didnt watch it again lol! i thought it was crap.

naw, thankfully it's all under the rug now. but that little kiddie stuff i wouldnt call anime. maybe animation by japanese artists. not anime eh?
and i remember that ancient evangellion bit. dont remember it being good either. BUt in terms of good, Ghost in the shell ROCKS! gonna go out and buy the rest of them now

i still like Pokemon to be honest. I'm waiting for a box set of series one to come out

Pokemon is Japanese animation, anime means Japanese animation. Pokemon is as anime as any other, doesnt matter if you like it or not. But if your going to use the word anime, you need to realise the meaning of the word. Also i think its extremly ironic that you call it childish in an Happy Hardcore forum :p Anyone care to share Priest with a little history of what this particular genre has been called numerous times in the past?
As for recommendations, i still havent quite figured out what it is you like.
If you want some fan to watch scifi, i've liked these series a lot:
-Full Metal Panic or the spin off Full Metal Panic Fumoffu
-Nadesico
-Vandread
-Outlaw Star
If you want some more serious scifi:
-Crest/Banner of the Stars
-RahXephon
-Now and Then, Here and There
-Serial Experiments Lain
