H H.stead is quite far from me but the bang woke me up! Apparently it was heard by people in Holland! My thoughts go out to all effected by the disaster.

Massive blaze rages at oil depot

Firefighters are battling to contain a blaze at an oil depot in Hertfordshire in which 43 people were injured - two seriously. A fire chief described the explosion as possibly the "largest such incident in peacetime Europe".

I saw this on the news this morning. Terrible.

I did read that no one was killed, so that is one good thing to come of it.

I only moved from hemel to watford couple months ago, i used to work in that dixons plant where signs came off.

It's damaged quite a lotta houses like windows going through and roofs etc, luckily nobodys dies from blast though i wonder what happened.
