i thnk it woul be great idea if you could do something that allows us to upload our mixes and songs onto happyhardcore.com and lts other people listen to them and rate them and leave comment for you and you silver youd even say what you think which would boost newcomers dj's performance what you think i think it would be great idea

The problem with that lies in the legal issues. If Silver allows his site to host unlicensed mixes, he might put himself at risk. It's goes right along with why he doesn't want tracklistings to member's mixes posted on here.

yeah but it wuld be like so cool if we could all reveiw our m8's tracks leave comment and feedbacks and what could be improved and how they did it what gave them the idea and S*** like that

what do they mean by unlicensed mix? do you have to get the OK from the artists in your mix? I wanted to start something like a newcomer radio station where it just plays nothing but up and comers in different scenes with songs and mixes. But if Iam going to get into a big legal battle with the artists that I love to listen to because we used their song then I don't know if I'll be doing that. But if it was a free radio station I don't think I could (techicially) get into legal battles with people since no one is getting paid for it.

I think that's the point.. nobody is getting paid but the artists should be.

Sure it's a great idea but labels and artists would not allow us to do this, we are too popular and they would loose too much. It would also degrade the value of hardcore if everyone downloaded mixes and didn't buy CD's anymore, ever wonder why all new hardcore CD's now must contain totally unreleased tracks for it to sell anything.
I would rather have new talent DJ's submit mixes to the radio that people can (already) leave comments on. With our radio station we pay a large amount of money for the broadcasters license and that money goes to the artists. I have said before that play on demand for the radio should be coming next year for premium subscribers.

I'd like to help showcasing fresh new talent. As I was walking home I was thinking of a way to do this.
Having an upload script for members of the site to post their home-grown, unsigned tracks. Then having some of the moderators (or specific group of respected people, same deal really) to listen to them, to approve that they are not blatant rips of other hardcore tunes make some short reviews and a score out of 10, and then finally our good friend "playlist page" or perhaps a brother of his, the "talent showcaser bot" can make a thread, with those reviews, and a total score.
How does that sound?

ok ok cool so how do other sites that let you register with them
and then let you upload your own mixes like beta records there thousand of people on there uploading everyday or new members on there so how do they get to do it without getting in trouble

They are operating illegally, several labels and artists have publicly posted that they don't want their material in any online mix downloadable or not. So basically these places operate until the labels / artist tells them to stop.

That aint DJing... it's called kiss my ass please I have these tunes and I want to you to kiss my ass because I'm a "DJ" and I have them and I can mix them. Short term butt kiss... long term nothing...

your not what i exspected you too be silver as admin i thought you might be all like harsh but you are totally oposite most dj's i have emailed or what are really talkative and friendly too fans but you are well relaxed and layed back and i like your style silver dont ever lose it! and you seem to have wit that no ones else has
