I just started to get into hhc because all the clubs around here don't play it. I dl some one day and loved it. Anyways, I liquid/pop to trance/house music. I my first time was Feb 02 at Excellent. I was amazed. A couple of new buddies were there and had some glowsticks and I was flippin. I couldn't dance at all then, but after I got into the music I danced all night long from like 10:00pm to 7:00am! I just watched some of the other people and how they were moving their feet. Anyways, after that I started to dl video clips from www.houseofrave.com , www.liquiding.com and www.glowsticking.com, and dl some on my PtP. I didn't really start going out very often until like Oct 02, but since I go out evey weekend. In Jan 03 I met Alex and he has been raving for several years and he taught me how to dance better. Mostly I just watched him, and learned that way. He also salsa dances and I see some of that when he's raving. He just showed me how to "Kandy Walk" this last weekend.

No point in making a plan for your dance moves lol, with happy hardcore music its all in the sence of just going with the flow, like the min i get on that dance floor im just raving my ass off and i have never even done these moves b4 hehehe. basiclly all it is, is like im playing hopscoch lol kick forward kick back lalalalala "go widda flow!"

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I CAN"T DANCE. That is why I became a DJ/Artist. That way I can hide behind the Turntables. At least then, when I am bouncin around, it looks like I can dance, from the waist up.

I am sure I have answered this and I never dug this deep.
Still when I was 8 and a half stone I use to bounce everywhere all the time.
Now I am 12 stone I don't as much bounce as thud. Mouse I am with you....I wanna mc or dj now!! I techno stomp a lot and am gonna exercise so I can get back to my bouncing days, I use to be a good dancer.I was known as the 'Clockwork raver' in west wales still I am getting old. White gloves, whistle glowsticks a must.

To reitrate what was said on the first page: this is quite possibly the favourite topic for me.
Once the beat is in my head, and the bass is booming from wall to wall, slipping the tunes and melodies over the top of it all...I just lose control. I love to dance, I still don't know if I'm a "good dancer", all I know is that I love ravin' away.
I've had a few female "friends" tell me I'm a "good dancer". Whether that's the friend in them, or honesty I don't really know.
The lads seem to buzz off me, so I guess I can't be THAT bad.
I couldn't agree more though, gloves and a whistle, two (depending on the length of the rave maybe four) glowsticks. Red, Blue, Purple and White.
The purple generally either glow a blinding violet, or a shocking pink...which is always interesting. White...they just shine like christ knows what.
I've been trying to persuade a friend to let me borrow his hi-vis jacket for the next distruxshon we go to...no joy yet though =I
I love to do everything and anything in dancing. Especially a fast tempo with the sticks and a lot of the ravers hop.
