White spirit is Methanol, or Methanol Mixed with ethanol.
And methanol makes you go blind, but ethanol is comercial Alchohol, like you get in vodka.
Never ever touch Methanol.

Make sure you don't drink metho (methylated spirits), it has methanol in it which is really poisonous. Also it has to mixed with a bit of water otherwise it does something really bad to you can't remember what though. I'm not sure of the exact process but to get 100% pure you need to chemically remove the water using a catalyst or something not just distill or boil, and 50mL of pure ethanol would probably kill you, or give you serious alcohol poisoning. Other than that go for and tells us how it works out.

Why the hell cant we get Everclear in this country, you americans are so lucky.
I was talking to someone in the pub about "Vodka Bars" in london that sell 80% ABV, But I cant find anything in the shops over 47.5% which is PISS weak.
I dont know what to do.
Far enough life isn't easy so i did a google search.....
Guess what, i only got 40% Piss Weak bottles of vodka.
I drunk half a bottle 70Cl bottle of 37.5% Vodka, and i did'nt feel much, i just dont like seeing such a small numbers like 40% on supermarket branded drinks.
Comercial Alchohol, is too much like comercial music.
I dont want to drink more at a Low %, i want to drink less at a high %.
I'm sure it would be better for you liver to Drink 50ml pure ethanol, instead of
UK comercial-strength vodka.

You know, they whole point in drinking is to be social etc, you know, like drinking few beers at the local bar, or to relax and drink a glass of wine after work or whatever. But the point isnt trying to find the quikest way to get alcohol poisoning.
Plus, 96% alcohol tastes really bad, it burns your mouth and throat.

47.5% piss weak wtf? anyway you can get stuff alot stronger than that, loads of clubs sell absynth (sp?) which is usually 70-80%, try asking for that.

and i dont know about all thats shit but when i was in grade 8 one of my buddys had this bottle of Ethanyl (or whatever your liver processes Ethanol into, forget the name that shit was long time ago) and it was like 200%. 1 bottlecap each and we were fukken gone, took like 0 time 2 hit too, cuz as soon as it hits your gut its in ur blood stream and awway you go.
but getting drunk for the sake of getting drunk was a long time ago. now its like some1 else said, you drink to drink with people, not to get completely trashed off your tree, so u dont know whats going on and try to run around shooting paintballs at everything u see >.<

Absynth is distilled over Wormwood which is a halucenogen, so it's not just alcoholically strong.
However, the overall effect is dependant upon the drinker's mentality, just like any drug.
ie: if you're a wanker you'll be an even bigger wanker when pissed.
