Can you take literaly anywhere....

Road, pavement, off-road.

For example if i had a 0.5 horspower engine could i take it on pavements.

What i'm looking for is an engine thats just weak enough for the law not too care.

I dont think the law works that way, it's to do with the type of vehicle.

In australia its up to a specail CC class
this is why motor fitted bikes and scooters need licences, but not all

In Australia if you have a motor without a chain and not direct drive that is attached to a wheel via pressure, so the motor turns something that touches the wheel and turns the wheel it is legal. I know this because my friend built one when I was 16.
