ok...so i got my computer back...and now im taking imfluence on the mess i left my old comp in...

i need a folder for music to use in ableton live....

but im not sure how to order it...

i will so far have these sub folders:

base tracks
eurodance
hardcore
hardstyle - gabba
new makina
remember/revival makina
scouse - mainstream dance

i dono whether to divideup more than that or whether even less (e.g. euro dance in with scouse)

id also quite like some sort of description to help me know what song is what...and dont know whether to rely on another sub filder called for e.g. (in new makina: vocal,or female vocal,or trancey etc....

or could i put a description in one of the colums like 'comments'

seriously...i cant be the only person whos ever been pissed off having too many tunes and wanting to order em??

cheers.

I know how you feal mate. Has to be organised.

Like Baldo said, the more folders the better, if loads of folders looks messy then just put some folders into other folders ect.

Doesnt matter there still a lot different if you've got loads at least no whether your about to throw in a gabba track or a hardstyle one.

You need to pitch up hardstyle to mix with makina anyway gabbas jus straight in.

eurodance
hardstyle
scouse - mainstream dance

those folders should be kept in the recycle bin, perminantly, then go into DOS and change the code so as to delete all excistence that they were ever created

OTT?

Disagree with you there sixfeet yes theres a lotta shit in all those genres but if you look long and hard you'll find some excellent tunes. Same with hardcore imo a lot's shit but theres enough gems to make it well worth looking.

Aye mate clubland albums are shit used to hate all scouse myself, not overly into the donky stuff but the eurotrance tracks can be wkd.

But theres a lot better scouse about than clubland anyway.

I use the folders iTunes makes when i record the cd's to my pc. Though its a bit crap, cause i used to use the english version, so compilations were in the compilations directory. Now when i use the finnish version, all new compilations go to "kokoelmat" folder.

SixFeet, been listening Eurodance for over 10 years, you dont know what your missing :p
