How pointless! All this crap is getting way out of hand now! I love that the black parents said the ba ba black sheep thing was ridiculous, goes to show though it's white people coming up with some of this crap aswell.

I personally think people should learn to take stuff in the context its meant in rather than looking for lame excuses to be idiots (no I'm not citing anything as an example - particularly not the biggoted ice cream). Political correctness has gone way too far. Yes there is a need to stop racism, biggotry and down right nasty prejudices, but the way its being tackled at the moment is making everybody worried about what they say in case somebody takes offense.

I remember back a few years ago I read in the LA times about something like this.
If any of you have ever worked with computers, you'll know when you have two IDE drives, you "slave" one to the master drive.
Apparently, a group of people found this terminology to be racially insensitive towards African Americans so they want everyone to stop calling it a Master/Slave configuration.
Same stuff happened over "female" and "male" ports/jacks... not sure if any real changes have been made though.
I wonder why government officials take these things seriously...

I'm with whispering actually. I mean i know that the swastika and everything involved with the Nazis was a situation that effected the world over, but yea at the end of the day, if something really is not meant in a certain way, people should just accept it. If its something that is important to an area for its own personal significance then i think people need to just accept these things.
