Anyone remember my DDR after 9 shots video? hahaha, anyways I was just wondering if any of the other folks who love DDR have tried In The Groove yet?
It's stepmania in arcades- exactly the same as DDR but with more mods and with harder songs (like ones that go to 13 feet).
The coolest part about ITG in my oppinion is the fact that the tunes are much harder... it's no longer a bunch of J-Pop songs (and don't get me wrong I love J-Pop too ^_^) but it's an awesome change and I've been playing that as much as DDR lately. Anyone else?

Squishy Star is pretty obsessed with it too. Maby you two should get together and do like an Ultimate fighting DDR thing. Last girl standing is the winner :p

I play DDR and PPR, but I've also tried Pump It and this new machine, which is probably In the Groove. It has more options and such, but I don't like playing it because I refuse to spend $1.50 for each game.

I'm still obsessed with DDR and other music based games as well. Anyone heard of Bust a groove and bust a groove 2 (not to be mistaken with the popular puzzle game "bust a move"), anyways they're old playstation games I never get tired of (it's made by 989 stdios and enix when they were called that).
Im also interested in REZ and Frequency and of course Space channel 5!

That DDR video I referring to was me and a friend doing Max 300 on heavy after 9 shots of Bacardi 151... Now THAT'S sad, lol
And Cyberpunk, yes I have played Bust a Groove and BaG2, also addicting games. And Squishy, get yer butt over to California and play me sometime, ey? If you get tired of DDR or ITG or pump, make sure you try Dance maniax (The one where you get to imitate raving and play with your hands instead of your feet). Now THAT game I am good at ^^
Anyone wanna play me? I'm in Santa Cruz in Cali.... ^_^

Hello.
Some Random Facts:
* I am an ex-Stepmania coder.
* I did not code directly on ITG although my name appears in the Credits.
* They use Triple J's Follow The Sun on ITG2 although it's misnamed to Sunshine.
* Most of the music is cheap nasty fruity loop, default synth 'techno', or cheesy Euro-Pop from the likes of E-Rotic.
* I personally do not like ITG, it is unoriginal and lacks musical, graphical quality although they do slightly better with ITG2 (but still have a long way to go).
* The makers of ITG (RoXoR) are currently in a legal battle with Konami.
* ITG is currently overhyped among the die-hard fanbase, and has caused quite a rift in the Bemani community. Those who enjoy the game (for some bizarre reason) and those who think it is a cheap ripoff no longer see eye-to-eye and this is probably the most negative aspect the game has brought with it.
