Sorry if there has already been a topic on this havn't seen one yet and couldn't spot one on search.

Anyone else got one yet? Got mine Saturday and I must say i'm pretty impressed more so than I was with my DS. Just wanted to know what people thought really and what games they have got/played. I got wipeout and ridge racer with mine, ridge racer is a bit of a run of the mill arcade racer but i'm pretty impressed with wipeout so far. I'm really looking foward to tales of destiny 2 and the new GTA both looking good IMO.

Had a go of one a while ago, graphics are brilliant and the controls are laid out nicely. Might buy one when i get a bit of spare cash together.

If they had sacrificed size for functionality and it played normal ps2 games as well as DVD's I would buy it in a second.

i recently bought a gameboy colour with 7 games for £10 off a mate, only got 3 games left now, other 4 were some pokemon games and was able to sell them to the second hand games shop for £35 for the 4 w00t, investment ahoy

I've had one for about 6 months now, got an imported one, can play all UK games and movies :) bit bored of it though tbh, until Burnout and GTA that is.

I actually use handhelds quite allot even just in the house because I can chill where I want and use it I don’t have a chair in my bedroom, the floor aint too comfy and it gets damn hot in the summer so its not a nice place to sit and play games for extended periods of time.

It has other uses too it fits quite nicely into my dashboard for watching movies stuck in the car and it also plugs into my ghetto blaster and plays mp3s through it which is quite handy, I’ve also heard rumours of a sat nav coming out for it don’t know if it's true though.

Cordharel I do have a DS as well and there are 1 or 2 games I am looking forward to on it (advance wars being one of them :)) and it's novel in its own way but tbh I’ve supported Nintendo since the NES and they’re really starting to balls things up lately. The PSP has just as many (probably more) exclusive titles for it and IMO is a better piece of kit than the DS (This is coming from a big Nintendo fan boy BTW).

A friend of mine has it and of course I've played on it a few times. It's so hot, I loved twisted metal on the PS1 and playing it on PSP brought back awesome memories. I'd love to play GTA, too. :)

It's still a lil expensive for me to get, but it might be a nice birthday gift

@ bulby_g
Same here, I am a BigN fan since SNES/Gameboy.

I just see that every jurk is in this big hype, just like when Pokemon came out (yeah I know, this was a kiddiehype, but hype is hype)

I read a long long discussion in a forum about the PSP, and I for myself have enough reasons not to buy it. I know the graphics are awesome. And I guess there are (will be) enough unique games for it.

Maybe I should not discuss with you cause I always was for nintendo, I have a gamecube and my bros have PS2, and I play GBA RPGs and DS stuff. I guess I can just not live with the fact I don't support nintendo

Hmm when I think about it I think its a general thing with me. I always wanted things that are not common, that not every stupid person loves or has.

For example I don't like football or in music I love happy hardcore, and thats very uncommon here.

I don't like pop, neither. Just Britney Spears when she wasn't pregnant.

So thats how I show you how to make a discussion post about the psp turn into a love message for Britney Spears
