Think he might also have had something to do with a dance act called Galleon. I seem to remember that from some years ago, they had two songs. Only remember them because the videos both had this girl getting dressed and undressed in both.

i hate recon and everything he's ever done! why don't he just **** off back to scouse house and take darren styles wiv him!!!!! people like him that take hardcore tracks and make them into commercial tracks not only ruin the tracks and stop them from becoming classics, but make the typical raver ashamed when people ask who recon is, and you have to say " one half of ultrabeat" ****in ultrabeat????? thats gay scouse house!!! we may as well let flip n fill do the mornin glory set htid! the fact that when people like recon, darren styles, breeze, hixxy and more suprisingly scott brown (who recently confirmed he's bringin out a pop version of the absolute classic and genre changing elysium!!!) bring out pop versions of hardcore classics and clubland cd's, it attracts more and more yobs to raves who don't know what ravin is all about! they decide to bully people into givin up they're glowsticks, whistles, horns etc! and these are the same people who attack you for lookin at them! wat happened to the good old nod and smile?? and the happy times??? at the last htid at air in birmingham i saw at least 4 fights in the main room. i never saw one fight in the techno room, there was the good old happy bouncy atmosphere in there, why? because its not commercial chav scum shit! it's happened to garage where the the more fire crew! they're the most commercial garage outfit yet when they're on theres always gunshots going off, but you never hear a gunshot when the darkest garage dj is on! why? i don't know to be honest, but i sure as hell see it happenin to hardcore if we're not too careful! esssay over!!!!

Try using parasgraphs. I don't really understand people saying commercial stuff brings more chavs, in my experience chavs mock people who like commercial stuff, for as long as I can remember the chavs where I live have always been into hardcore.

not every chav! i admit its a minority, but a minoritys enough for people to getted ****ed off with the hassle that the minority causes!!
then people will stop comin to the hardcore events! then we'll be left in the same situation as we were at the turn of the milenium! people won't fill the raves n the raves will close down!

i like the music through ravin! i just fell in love wit the atmosphere (and the drugs!!!!) and then i started gettin into the music! if the raves don't have a good atmosphere and theres loads of attitude then i'd stop going n just listen to tape packs and cd's, i wouldn't waiste my money in going to a rave n try keep your self to yourself! i'd rather go to a pub, it'd be alot cheaper!

The reason the raves 'closed down' had nothing to do with the wrong crowd or trouble at events.
It was, quite simply, the rubbish music that caused the 'scene' to disappear up it's own arse.
Commercialism is only a temporary thing anyway - when all the fairweather hardcore fans have gone back to whatever they were doing before, the true followers will still be here.
And i'm NEVER going to knock a DJ/producer for trying to make a living.

na thats true! but they don't have to drag hardcore down while they're doin it! if you were in that situation would you make a perfectly good hardcore tune into a chessy embarrasin commersialised slow pop tune to make an easy buck? it raises the question "do they really love hardcore"?? you'd never see sy or dougal sellin out!!!!! coz they're old skool!!!!

To be brutally honest, i don't care whether the scene dies again or not. if it does, it'll be for good reasons.

If that has to happen for us to get 'our' scene back then so be it, i'll still be here just as i was last time.

And i had to laugh when you said 'you'd never see sy or dougal sellin out!!!!! coz they're old skool!!!!

They've done pretty much the same just with a much lower profile.

Err......actually.

I'm assuming you're heard of Cheeky Trax? Well, Cheeky Trax are Sy & Unknown.

And United In Dance are Dougal & Styles.

Congratulations, what little respect i had for you has now officially gone out of the window. Yet another member of the 'when things don't go my way i'll resort to insults' club.

If you had bothered to read properly you'd have understood what i meant. I won't waste my time explaining it to you, don't imagine you'd listen anyway.
