okay so im a total newb to synths and music production and stuff and i could sound like a fukn idiot saying this but here goes...
im using vanguard for my synths right, (im also using fruity loops) and whenever i use a synth and place it in one of the keys the sound doesnt stop... it keeps going... like just a constant buzz that doesnt stop... can i stop this so that it fades after like 4 beats or something?

right click on the synth where all you samples and synths are loaded up (it will say vanguard on it) and select send to piano roll.

CHEERS! you have NO idea how long that has pissed me off!
but.....
it doesnt match the beat...is there a lazy way where i can automatically make it match the beat?
