Australia could have a chance if players like harry kewl put australia before there multimillion dollar league matches, which there allowed to do (saying no to a international means they cant play a league match the same weekend).

But yeah I reckon It will come down to overall skill, and well that means england wont win, since there teams are baised on "super" strikers and not teamwork

If I had to put money on it I would Most likely go with brazil, but all you englanders need to have faith... it could happen you could for the first time in forever not blow it when it becomes most important. Those of you in austrailia dont get your hopes up.

I'd be elated to see the US team make it to the semi-finals, I'm just happy we're ranked 6th right now...just need to beat the mexicans =P I think it's interesting that the US gets better at football but slips in other major sports at the olympics =P

I don't think england will win the cup...I'd really like to see holland play well since they haven't the past several years =P

Yeh i think USA have got as good a chance as any they have before aswell the way theyve been playing. I think their actually ranked higher than England in the world rankings at the mo.

When the door bell goes, why do dogs always think its for them??

Dont think ive seen a Dutch side play well since 1988 or there abouts. They should be one of the best teams in the world.

Spain(same as the Dutch they should be much better) will not win nor will England(we are often poor in attack and average in midfield)

Its between Brazil(Adriano,Ronaldinho etc need i say more), Germany (Home advantage and well their German) and maybe Italy depending on how they play.

I also think a lot will depend on the draw of the group stages

I think germany has a good shot at winning. their defense is practically impenetrable...which showed last world cup when the US played them.

Robinho is just phenominal, but then again most of the brazilian squad is when it comes to strikers.

Still haven't seen that much of Robinho. Just little bits from the confed cup over the summer. In which he did look rather good.

Im just worried that we wont get to Denilson(Step over king if a bit poor most of the time) at the next world cup due to the amount of options the Brazilian coach has.

^^^ Can't tell you how gutted I am. Newcastle's season has gone from worse to worserer. I would imagine he'd be back for the world cup, it is 5/6months away (about). Broken bones take 2/3 months usually. His form might be worrying though. Tbh, Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard and Terry are the dudes we NEED to stay fit.

Scratch Germany and Italy, Argentina would do them both.

This year England have a ****in great team this year, best chance in years.
